General Terms and Conditions

Overview - By becoming a member of MyHub you are agreeing to the following Terms and Conditions.

Applicable policies and terms of service - We may update these Terms and Conditions, and we shall send you updates with thirty days notice. You will have accepted such updates, by continued use of the services.

Who we are - Who we are for purposes of this Agreement is the MyHub company. We reserve the right to change the legal entity that charges you for the Services. The company which you enter into Agreement will be known in these Terms and Conditions as “we”, “our” “us” or “MyHub”.

Who you are - References to “you”, “your” and similar words in this Agreement refer to the individual registering as a member of our services. What are “Services”? The Services include:

  1. Use of one daily desk per day per Member at the Premise, subject to availability. A sub-section of the desks are available for prior reservation. The remaining desks are available ‘first come first serve’.
  2. A ‘break out’ common area is also available to all members with access to chairs, tables, WIFI and all the other Premise facilities.
  3. Access to the shared WIFI connection.
  4. Use of our Website and Apps to manage your membership and subscription. Our Website and Apps are designed for phone, tablet, and desktop and are downloadable from the Apple App Store for iOS and the Google Play Store for Android.
  5. Membership specific login accounts on our Website and Apps are for your personal use only and may not be copied or shared with another person or party.
  6. Access to and use of the printers, copiers and/or scanners available to all MyHub members in the Premise, in each case subject to availability and payment of any fees applicable.
  7. Access to and use of the meeting rooms at the Premise during opening hours, in each case subject to availability, prior reservation, and payment of associated fees.
  8. Use of private phone booths ‘pods’, while using a Premise during opening hours, in each case subject to availability, prior reservation, and payment of associated fees.
  9. Use, within the Premise, of kitchens and beverages made available.
  10. Opportunity to participate in members-only events, benefits and promotions

What are “subscription members” and “pay-as-you-go members”? You become a member of MyHub on completing registration online and satisfactory completion of any required checks. Members can choose:

  1. ‘subscription membership’ with recurring fees at monthly (or other time periods i.e. yearly as stipulated on website) with unlimited access to the premise facilities in that time period until subscription is cancelled
  2. or choose to use the premises on a daily adhoc basis with ‘pay-as-you-go membership’ with prior booking. Subscription memberships will automatically default to pay-as-you-go membership when subscription is terminated

Membership eligibility - Unless otherwise specified by us in writing, the Services are only available to individuals who are at least 18 years old. Pets are not permitted on the Premises. Assistance animals, such as sight dogs, are permitted with prior permission from MyHub. Children are not permitted on the premises.

Access to the premises - Once you have completed a subscription membership or daily pass membership, you will be supplied with a link to the door entry App ‘Salto’ for a unique access code to the Premise.

Paying for MyHub Membership - The payment method provided by you will automatically be charged the fees and any other amounts you may incur. Recurring fees, begin on the date of your membership and monthly on that date onwards. We reserve the right to increase or decrease the Membership Fee upon thirty (30) days’ prior notice to you.

Privacy - We collect, process, transfer and secure personal data about you. The Premises will be monitored by CCTV for your security. Personal property - MyHyb will not be responsible for any property you leave behind in any of our Premise. It is your responsibility to ensure that personal items are secured in lockers or removed from the Premise. We will make all reasonable effort to return private property to you. We will be entitled to dispose of any property remaining in any of our Premise and you waive any claims or demands regarding such property or our handling of such property.

Registered address business use. You may not use the address of any of our Premise as your registered address. If you are found to be using an address provided by us as your registered address, you shall immediately complete the deregistration of such address with the relevant local authorities and you will be charged a fee equal to 200% of your monthly Membership Fee and any costs incurred by MyHub.

Emergency evacuation: In the event of a fire alarm or other emergency, members and guests are required to vacate the premises immediately and only to re-enter the premises if you have been allowed to do so by a member of staff or emergency services, this includes any fire evacuation test drill. Under no circumstances is any Fire Alarm or request to evacuate to be treated as a false alarm and be ignored.

Extraordinary events. MyHub will not be liable for, and will not be considered in default or breach of this Agreement on account of, any delay or failure to perform arising out of or caused by, directly or indirectly, forces that are beyond MyHub’s reasonable control, including, without limitation, any delays or changes in construction of, or MyHub’s ability to procure any space in, any Premise; any conditions under the control of our landlord at the applicable Premise; acts or orders of Government; acts of God; epidemics or pandemics; or public health emergencies.

Your right of cancellation Subscription membership will be on a rolling (often monthly) basis, unless otherwise stated. There is no minimum term of contract, which can be cancelled with 30 days notice. If other time period memberships are offered, i.e. yearly membership, your membership will roll on in the same manner (i.e. yearly) unless cancellation notice is received in writing with 30 days notice.. You have the right to cancel the subscription within 14 days of signing up without giving any reason, with refund of membership fee, minus pro-rata use of premises in that time. To exercise the right of cancellation, you must inform us of your decision by sending e-mail to [email protected]. All subscription memberships will be automatically converted to pay-as-you-go membership, unless specifically requested in writing to terminate all forms of membership.

myHub RULES

  • The MyHub common spaces are available for the use of all our members and their guests
  • Members can admit a maximum of 5 guests, exclusively for the use of the private meeting room, when prior booked. All terms and conditions and house rules apply to guests equally, with members accepting full responsibility for guest’s actions For the avoidance of doubts, members cannot admit guests for any other reason.
  • While you are using a MyHub space, you are responsible for your personal property. MyHub will not be responsible for any lost or stolen items.
  • For the safety and enjoyment of all members of our community, you shall act in a respectful manner in the space, and shall not perform any activity or cause or permit anything that is reasonably likely to be disruptive or dangerous to us or any members, or our/their employees, guests, or property.
  • Use of any MyHub space to conduct or pursue any illegal or offensive activities is strictly prohibited and where appropriate will be reported to the Police or relevant authority. Weapons of any kind, and any other offensive, dangerous, hazardous, inflammable or explosive materials are strictly prohibited in any MyHub space.
  • Members or guests shall not consume alcohol in a MyHub space.
  • For any member using wireless internet, computers, tablets, mobile devices and other electronic equipment must be (a) kept up-to-date and (b) kept clean of any malware, viruses, spyware, worms, Trojans, or anything that is designed to perform malicious, hostile and/or intrusive operations.
  • For any items provided to you by the MyHub community team for temporary use, you will be responsible for replacement fees should any such property be lost, stolen or destroyed.
  • The premises must be vacated at the allotted closing time. Under no circumstances can the premise be used for overnight sleeping or accommodation.
  • The premises must be vacated in the event of a Fire Alarm or other emergency calling for immediate evacuation
  • Hot or odorous food cannot be carried into or consumed inside the premise. The refreshments and common areas are provided for consuming other food and drinks.
  • Please take all precautions to avoid ‘tail gating’ by non-members when you are entering and exiting the premise. All members must enter and exit the property using their own access passwords or keys at all times.
  • Private pods and meeting rooms are available for use, when prior booked. for phone call use and meetings, which are not permitted in the general office spaces. Short phone calls at an acceptable volume are permitted within reasonable use.
  • We ask you to adhere to a strict no music policy, including intrusive music overheard through the use of headphones
  • It is expressly forbidden to share personal membership information and MyHub access information to any other individual or third party.
